Drafty’s Campsite – Warren National Park

Drafty’s has 22 camp sites suitable for tents only. Campervans, camper trailers and caravans are not permitted. There is a camp kitchen with undercover gas barbeques, dishwashing sinks, food preparation surfaces and picnic tables and benches.

There are shared-use toilets, wood barbeques and picnic tables close to the banks of the Warren River.

No pets are allowed.

Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice.

When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.

Campers? own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared (see Department of Fire and Emergency Services).

Bookings cannot be made. There is no guarantee of availability of camp sites and is on a first in, first served basis. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay in case there is no suitable site available.

Park entry fees apply to Warren National Park. Camping fees apply – $7.50 per adult per night, concession and child rates available. Self-registration hut at entrance to Heartbreak Trail and campground.
