Rainbow Rides 2026: Cycling, Community and Fun Across the Southern Forests & Valleys

The 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships are coming to our region this October, and the Southern Forests & Valleys is getting ready to celebrate with a series of FREE Rainbow Rides community events across Balingup, Bridgetown and Pemberton.

The Rainbow Rides are all about bringing cycling, community and visitors together in the lead-up to this exciting international event. Whether you’re an avid cyclist, bringing the family along, or simply looking for something fun to do, everyone is welcome.

Each event will feature relaxed community rides, kids’ bike activities, family entertainment, food, stalls and plenty happening in the Event Village. Australian professional cyclist Matilda Raynolds will also be joining us at all three events.

Monday 5 October | 9am–12noon
📍 Bridgetown Primary School

🌲 Pemberton

Tuesday 6 October | 2pm–5pm
📍 Pemberton District High School
🚲 15 km Community Ride

You certainly don’t need to be a cyclist to join the fun. Bring your bike and take part in a community ride, bring the kids along for the activities, or simply come down to enjoy the atmosphere, food and entertainment.
