Go mountain biking in Pemberton Mountain Bike Park.
The Pemberton region is one of three National Ride destinations in the SW Mountain Bike Master Plan to turn WA's South West into Australia's mountain bike mecca with nearly 500km of new trails planned.
Pemberton Mountain Bike Park has some 30 kilometres of single track, a set of dirt jumps and a pump track. The mountain bike park is open to everyone.
There are other mountain bike trails in the area including Northcliffe and Manjimup plus the Munda Biddi Trail, WA's premier long distance mountain bike trail which passes through Pemberton. Grab a map from the Visitor Centre when you arrive in town.

Go on a four hour 4WD tour with Pemberton Discovery Tours (Wildflower tour in season) departing daily and traveling through the Yeagarup Dunes; the largest land locked sand dune system in the Southern Hemisphere, through giant sections of old growth Karri forest to the mouth of the Warren River in the Warren & D’Entrecasteaux National Parks. Self 4WD drive or walk into the dunes from Yeagarup Lake are great options for the adventurer. You can also camp at Department Park's and Wildlife's Leaning Marri Campsite at Lake Yeagarup

Enjoy a half-day Donnelly River Cruise, find out about the natural history, Aboriginal heritage, view the squatter’s huts and walk on the edge of the stunning Southern Ocean.
The cruise meanders along a 12 kilometre section of the Donnelly River traversing a diverse ecosystem that is only accessible by boat. It passes through Jarrah and Karri forest, wetlands, Paperbark wetlands down to the magnificent Southern Ocean.

Explore the Karri forest on our many trails by foot, mountain bike, paddle, road cycle, horse, 4WD, motorbike or car.
Adventure by whatever mode of transport you enjoy, the Southern Forest region offers a wide variety of trails to suit your mood, ability, experience, time and length that suits.
We have the Bibbulmun Track (bushwalking) and the Munda Biddi Trail (mountain biking) trail, Western Australia's premier long distance trails that start in Kalamunda and finish in Albany pass through Pemberton and Northcliffe and are approximately 1000 kilometres long. Walk sections or do end to end. We can store your food parcels at the Visitor Centre for when you come through Pemberton and Northcliffe on the trail, contact the Visitor Centres to arrange your drop off.

The Karri Forest Explorer Drive was developed and funded by the Department of Parks and Wildlife with support from the Pemberton tourism industry. It winds through some of the south-west’s most magnificent karri forest. Karri Forest Discovery Explorer
It is 2WD friendly. Explore it at your own pace—stop for a picnic at Big Brook Dam, climb 60m to the Gloucester Tree lookout, see Beedelup Falls from the suspension bridge, go bushwalking, or fishing, or just sit and take in nature. You’ll find trail-side information to guide you through the forest, including a series of tourist radio stops (100 FM).

Wander the Understory Art and Nature Trail in Northcliffe, listening to stories, poetry or music on audio tour.
Understory is a nationally unique art in nature experience that everyone can enjoy. Artworks are located along a 1.2km walk trail through pristine native forest. Sculptures, stories, poetry and music explore our relationship with nature and the 'spirit of place'.
