Chefingo’s Restaurant and Wine Lounge is part of the Forest Lodge Resort in Pemberton. The Restaurant is managed and owned by the Internationally acclaimed celebrity chef and cookbook author Ingo Maass.  The Restaurant is the main food and beverage outlet of the resort and serves breakfast and dinner.

The interior of the restaurant has a classic timber town feel with shiny timber floors and 270-degree window frontage overlooking the Terrace, Biergarten and Forest Lake. The large selection of local wines, spirits and liquor highlights the best of the southwest. International cuisine for everyone with local produce and a bust food flavour combined with the German touch brings out the best in the food.

The restaurant also caters for weddings, events and conferences.

The charming gazebo on the lake is a photographer’s dream and consequently we are a popular venue for Weddings, and other functions.

For our Breakfast, Events and Dinner, the Restaurant overlooks the beautiful lake and our 96-year-old Sequoia Tree. The unspoiled nature is very popular with birds and our local resident kangaroos which feed on the property in large numbers. Some of these birds are endemic (unique) to this region, and ideal for wildlife photography with their vivid colours, such as: Western Rosellas, Red-capped Parrot, Red-winged Fairy wrens, Splendid Fairy Wrens, Yellow Ringneck Parrots, Red- eared Firetail Finches and White-breasted Robin, just to name a few.
