For travellers exploring the Southern Forests by RV or caravan, Pemberton offers essential amenities to help make your journey comfortable and convenient.

Water Fill Stations

Currently, Pemberton provides fresh water access for caravans and RVs at the Pemberton Caravan Park. Here, visitors can find nearby water access, making it easy to top up your tanks. Please note that there is a $5 fee for water usage, with all proceeds going towards supporting our community-run park.

Dump Point Facilities

The Pemberton Caravan Park also hosts a dump point, ideal for those looking to responsibly dispose of waste while travelling through the area. The same $5 fee applies for using the dump point, contributing to the upkeep of the facility and the surrounding park.

By using these dedicated facilities, you are helping support community efforts to maintain and improve our amenities for all visitors.

Rubbish Facilities

The Pemberton transfer station is the local ‘tip’ open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm – 4pm. During peak times, the Shire of Manjimup places skip bins strategically around the shire for the benefit of campers visiting the region.

Camping Facilities

The Pemberton region has 2 caravan parks, one of which is our local Pemberton Caravan Park supporting the Pemberton Visitor Centre, the other at RAC Karri Valley Resort. There are also multiple National Park camping opportunities which are bookable online and a number of privately run camps including that at the rear of the Southern Forest Chocolate Co, Stargazers and the private group camping facilities are also available to book at the Yeagarup Hut.

Camping Items

Forgot something? You can purchase camping items at the Pemberton General Store, BP Pemberton Garage and the Pemberton Caravan Park may have the right thing for the job. Alternatively give WA Wilderness a call as they may have tents and all things camping available for hire.

Laundry

Pemberton is lucky enough to have 2 main laundromats on the main street of Pemberton, one on Ellis St, just behind the post office, the other next to the Pemberton General Store just next to the Pemberton Hotel (not a bad way to wait for that load of washing to finish up). Some accommodation places including the Pemberton Caravan Park have washing machines available for their guests.
