Unearthed Pemberton Festival 21 - 30 April 2017

Unearthed Pemberton presents  a series of open gates, open studios and events under three categories:

The mission of the Festival is to open up the region by encouraging the visitor off the beaten track to meet the locals at their labours. The Southern Forest region while often visited hides much of its treasures behind the farm gate, the artists studio and local secrets.  We aim to open and share these to give the visitor a real taste of life in the region.  The Festival is a showcase of the regions premier food and wine producers, culinary professionals, art, heritage and of course natural beauty.


















Double Header Mountain Bike Event 1 - 2 April 2017 Pemberton.

The weekend of April 1-2 2017 is the double header mountain bike event being conducted at the Pemberton Mountain Bike Park.

Saturday will see the Perth Mountain Bike Club in partnership with the Pemberton VC conducting the Cross Country Olympics mountain bike event. The race will feature some special sections of a number of trails catering for a male and female riders of all ages. Sponsored by Shimano and the Shire of Manjimup. Entry to the event.

Sunday West Australian Gravity Enduro (WAGE) in partnership with the Pemberton VC will be conducting the Gravity Enduro event. The gravity enduro will feature four different courses in the Pemberton Mountain Bike Park. Sponsored by Chain Reaction and the Shire of Manjimup. Entry to the event.





















Karri Valley Triathlon 18 - 19 March 2017

Held at the picturesque Karri Valley Resort near Pemberton, the Karri Valley Triathlon showcases the beauty of WA’s Southwest, while providing triathletes with a unique racing experience.
Stadium Triathlon Club, in association with Karri Valley Resort, has hosted the Karri Valley Triathlon annually since 2003. The event will be held next on the weekend of 18-19 March 2017.
After swimming in the clean, fresh waters of Lake Beedelup you will be challenged by the undulating bike course under the canopy of the Karri Forest, and soak up the majestic views and natural charm of the Karri Valley Resort and surrounds during the road/trail run.

  • Enjoy a meal at one of the cafes, hotel, brewery or restaurants created from local seasonal produce.

  • Go canoeing on the Warren River with friends or on a tour and learn about the flora and fauna from Andy.

  • Cook a fantastic meal from local seasonal produce.

  • Go swimming, have a picnic or walk around Big Brook Dam.

  • Ride on the Pemberton Tramway and wonder at the timber bridges and admire the work of men back in thelate 1920’s in building the train line.

  • Swim, bring a picnic or walk around Pemberton’s historic natural swimming pool (constructed in 1928/29) in the Pemberton Forest Park.
